We respect our students' privacy. You do not need to prepare a webcam for the session if you don’t want to.
However, our curriculum is based on an interactive, online audiovisual system, which allows our consultants to evaluate the pronunciation accuracy of your speech. You can definitely turn on your webcam when you feel like to.
For the best results, we recommend headphones equipped with a microphone. If your device has an embedded microphone, you can use it as an alternative.
You also need to have a system with a sound card.
Note: If you can play music on your device that means it has a sound card!
• For computer/laptop users: Please use Google Chrome only as your browser while accessing our platform. You might be asked to update your Google Chrome to theversion of 91 or above to be compatible. If you haven’t updated it yet, you may get it at Resources .
• For mobile device users: Please access our platform via "TutorABC Chinese" app ONLY to avoid possible technical difficulty. You may find the app in both App Store and Play Store.
To maximize connection quality, please close any BT or P2P programs, such as Skype, and make sure you aren't downloading large files at the same time as your session.

Yes, you can cancel your reservation up to 4 hours prior to the start of the session by going to Reservation Center and unchecking the reservation. Click "Submit" to finish the cancellation.

You can preview your material 4 hours before your session starts.
Click on the slides at the bottom of the page to preview your lesson plan. Click on the X at the top-right of the page to close the preview window.
Click material preview to see the material slide.
Click Vocabulary Preview to see the vocabulary. If you would like to save a word for review later, click on the heart icon on the right of the vocabulary, and the word will be saved to your personal VocaBank.
You can log in at any time to review your saved vocabulary words under "VocaBank".
Yes! After your class, you can rate your consultant, lesson plan, and the Internet connection for the session. You can submit feedback up to 24 hours after each attended class.

The homework lets the consultant know how much you have absorbed from the session. We use it as a form of feedback, and the consultant can also use it to identify your strong and weak points.
There are ten homework questions for each class. Click on the "Session review" to do your homework, and submit when you are done to see your score.
20 minutes after your session has finished, the class video will be uploaded for you to view.
Yes! Just download the TutorABC Chinese Classroom App from App Store or Google Play and log in before your scheduled session time!
Is it time for your class yet? You may enter the classroom 3 minutes before the session begins. Please wait until the "Enter Session" button turns red, then click the button to enter the session room. You should be able to see your lesson plan, consultant's name, and learning focus.
Our customer IT team can provide immediate support and help solve issues during your class. Click on technical support button and our IT staff will be right with you.
Right now, we only offer lessons in Mandarin Chinese. We focus on one thing and do it well.
All of our consultants can teach both of them! You can pick which one you prefer to learn.
